47-year-old Brian Johnson, the fitness influencer best known for his online persona "Liver King," has been arrested in Texas after making threats against popular podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan on social media.

Per NBC News, the Austin Police Department said that Johnson was arrested after they learned that he was traveling to Austin, Texas, the city where Rogan lives. He was taken into custody at the Four Seasons Hotel and charged with terroristic threat, a class B misdemeanor.

The arrest was made after Johnson posted a series of videos threatening Rogan. In one video posted to Instagram on Monday, Johnson said, "Joe Rogan, I’m calling you out, my name’s Liver King. Man to man, I’m picking a fight with you. I have no training in jiu-jitsu, you’re a black belt, you should dismantle me. But I’m picking a fight with you. Your rules, I’ll come to you, whenever you’re ready."

He was seen sporting what appeared to be a wolf pelt on his head, with each hand grasping a gold gun.

In another video posted the same day, Johnson challenged Rogan to fight "man to man." He continued, "You never come across something like this, willing to die, hoping that you’ll choke me out because that’s a dream come true."

Police said that they contacted Rogan on Tuesday, who told them that he had never interacted with Johnson and considered the posts to be threatening. Per KXAN, the police department confirmed Johnson “made threats against Joe Rogan on his Instagram profile.”

Video showed Johnson being taken into custody on Tuesday. A separate video posted moments before he was taken into custody showed Johnson talking about "ancestral tenants," a WiFi connection with the password "f*ck you Joe Rogan," and being "detained" while meditative music played in the background. At one point he also pointed to a box on a table with the Joe Rogan Experience podcast logo on it and directed someone to give it to the "big tall guy" at "Mothership," Rogan’s comedy club.
