The Republican National Committee (RNC) under new chair Lara Trump announced on Friday that they will be working closely with Scott Presler to increase voter turnout ahead of the US 2024 Presidential Election in November.

The announcement was made by the RNC's new co-chair, Lara Trump. Scott Presler is a prominent conservative activist who has become notable for registering thousands of conservative voters and teaching at voter registration workshops across the country.

Presler will lead the RNC's legal ballot-chasing operations, a ballot-harvesting strategy that has been used by the Democrat National Committee which Republicans believe has given the opposition a competitive advantage in elections across the nation. It's now game on, according to Lara Trump.

Speaking to Benny Johnson, who is the host of the Benny Johnson Show, Trump spoke highly of Presler and said that the RNC would tap him for its new ballot harvesting division.

"We also have to start thinking about things like legal ballot harvesting, something we've never embraced as a party," explained Trump. "We're going to start doing it now. I'm going to have a call very soon with Scott Presler, who is an amazing vote registerer. He has registered so many people in this country."

"I think he's fantastic. I want him on our legal ballot harvesting division," said Trump.

Lara Trump also articulated the RNC's election strategy to ensure Donald J. Trump, the GOP's presidential nominee, secures a victory over incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden in November.

The strategies include embracing early voting, creating an election integrity division, training poll workers, and hiring attorneys, said Trump.

Last Friday, the RNC unanimously voted to elect Lara Trump as its new co-chair, along with Michael Whatley as the committee's new chairman. The RNC also tapped Chris LaCivita, who is a top adviser to the Trump campaign, as director of operations.
