York Regional Police charged a 27-year-old man over the weekend for hosting a party at his residence, CP24 reports.
Police in Vaughan say they were called around 1:30 am on Saturday to the residence in the area of Weston Road.
Over 25 people were found inside, as well as more in the backyard police said in a tweet Wednesday. Allegedly, none of the guests were wearing masks.

The York Region is currently in the red zone of Ontario’s reopening tiers. Red is the highest level of restrictions before lockdowns. Under the red guidelines, gatherings are limited to five people indoors and 25 people outdoors.
"All of the other occupants could have faced charges for being there. People should be aware of that and not attend these gatherings but in this case officers used their discretion and only charged the homeowner who had arranged the event." Constable Laura Nicolle told CP24 in an email sent Wednesday morning.
