More than two dozen men have been charged in connection with the sexual exploitation and rape of an underage girl over seven years in West Yorkshire.
The offenses are reported to have taken place in and around Calderdale and Bradford between 2003 and 2010 when the victim was aged between 13 and 20.
29 male suspects were charged with the following counts:
The Calderdale area's recent history has been marred with rape gang scandals including the 2016 arrest and conviction of 15 men on counts of multiple child sex offenses including rape, grooming and trafficking.
Eight other suspects arrested during the West Yorkshire Police investigation have been released without charge, law enforcement reported via press release. The charged men are due to appear in Bradford Magistrates' Court starting July 7.
Halifax in West Yorkshire had a similar incident come to light in January of last year, when 16 men, including one police officer, were charged with abusing three teenage girls between 2006 and 2009.
