Anti-Israel activists released on bail paid by anti-police bail fund after blockading Seattle airport

A spokesperson for the Port of Seattle told The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI, “20-24 flights were delayed. The majority were 20 minutes or less. The longest were two international flights that were delayed 90 and 77 minutes as their flight crews were delayed by the blockage.”

On Tuesday, city of Seattle prosecutors filed charges for failure to disperse and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors, against all 46 individuals who were released from custody after posting bail $500 bail each. At least a dozen of the activists were bailed out by the controversial fund according to jail officials.

Linda Bevis, the so-called "Bride of Palestine" wife of Ed Mast who was arrested as part of the anti-Israel action at SeaTac and was previously one of the organizers of the January blockade of Interstate 5 in downtown Seattle, posted on Facebook that the "fund was drained."

Bevis claimed in a local anti-Israel group, “Hey everyone, bail needs have been met! no more needs for funds at this time. however, the NW bail fund was drained. if folks could donate to help rebuild that that would be amazing!” She also included a link to the fund.

The fund previously bailed out a man accused of shooting a Washington State trooper 9 times and Allister Clinton Baldwin a prolific offender who was charged with Seattle’s first homicide of 2023, a year that shattered the all-time high homicide record in the city.

Beavis, a professor at North Seattle College, grew up in Beirut and worked as a lawyer in Ramallah, the base of operations for the Palestinian Authority for Al-Haq which is backed by the terrorist group Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

She also worked as a teacher at Renton High School, promoting the Hamas version of Palestine's history & co-created a DVD “Palestine For Beginners.”

According to Mondoweiss, she created a teaching trunk that attempted to “bring the Palestinian narrative” into school classrooms.

Bevis, who has a JD & Master’s in Education from the University of Washington, claimed she was inspired to create the trunk based on a similar one used to teach about the atrocities of the Holocaust in schools by the Holocaust Center for Humanity in Seattle.

According to the Times of Israel, the trunk is "redolent with white-hot code words used to delegitimize Israel, such as “Apartheid,” “genocide,” and “Israeli war crimes.”

"No propagandistic trope, no matter how historically dishonest, is unmentioned."

It also contains cards for the “Occupation Game” that read, "You try to prevent a soldier from inappropriately touching your sister at a checkpoint. Spin the wheel: 1-2: go to ARREST 3-4: go to BEATING 5."

An Action Card for the game reads that the soldiers "berate you and let you go" while another said, "You are shot by Occupation soldiers and die instantly. You hover over the world for some time, unable to leave because you love and fear for your family and friends. You have desires but no power. You wait, along with the living, for the Occupation to end."

On a 2001 trip to Israel, Bevis and Mast were charged with resisting arrest, unlawful assembly, and assaulting an Israeli police officer. She praised the deadly 2020 anti-cop Seattle autonomous zone where 6 black teens were shot and 2 were killed as 'beautiful.' She claimed she was safe in the zone because there were no police even though rapes robberies and murders went up 250 percent.

KOMO News attempted to speak to the anti-Israel activists on Tuesday while they were picking up the cars used to block the freeway from a local tow yard, but they refused to comment.
