Anti-Israel activists targeted Turning Point USA We Stand with Israel, an event featuring Seattle-based Jewish radio host Ari Hoffman at the University of North Carolina Charlotte on Tuesday.
Anti-Israel protesters flooded the campus and attempted to intimidate Hoffman and other people attending the event. They chanted, took over the hallways, and disrupted Hoffman as he gave his speech in the auditorium.

View on XHoffman, who is the west coast editor of The Post Millennial, said he received threats on social media prior to the event.
"I had a feeling there might be trouble. Before the event was even publicized I started getting threats which likely means someone from the university who saw the paperwork was the one who sent this," Hoffman wrote on X.
The message sent to Hoffman read: "I'll be seeing you on the 28th you evil Islamophobic racist."

View on XVideo footage taken at the UNC campus shows anti-Israel protesters gathering outside the building about an hour before the event. They arrived with Palestinian flags, anti-Israel signs, and engaged in chants that included calls to end Israel's "occupation" of the Palestinian territory, which are often interpreted as calls for the "genocide of Jews."
Many of the protesters concealed their faces behind keffiyehs and masks.
The protesters then made their way into the building where the event was taking place and packed the hallway to intimidate Hoffman and eventgoers. Video shows that some of the protesters painted their hands red to signify that Israel has "blood on its hands."
Hoffman said that the protesters kept calling him the "doxxing Zionist." This in regard to Hoffman successfully identifying individuals that engage in anti-Semitic behavior on social media, mostly in relation to Israel's war against Hamas terrorists.

"During my speech, they spent a good amount of time heckling and throwing slurs my way before eventually staging a walkout about 20 minutes into my talk," said Hoffman. "Some stayed for Q&A but didn't know what to do without their comrades and when someone challenged them on anything they didn't have talking points for."

View on XDespite the threats, disruptions, and intimidation from protesters, the event was successful and Ari Hoffman thanked campus security for their efforts.
"Kudos to campus security who were the best I have seen yet. A special thank you to Dean Christine Reed Davis who came to make sure there was a free exchange of ideas & TPUSA for putting on a great event," Hoffman wrote on X.
