AOC, squad members SLAMMED after calling for ‘ceasefire’ in all of Hamas attacks on Israel
“Today is devastating for all those seeking lasting peace and respect for human rights in Israel and Palestine.”
“Today is devastating for all those seeking lasting peace and respect for human rights in Israel and Palestine.”

On Saturday, members of "the Squad" in Congress were slammed after they began calling for a ceasefire in Israel, instead of supporting the country's right to defend itself from terrorist attacks. These unofficial members include Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and others.
In a post on X, Representative Ilhan Omar failed to condemn the attacks and asked her supporters to Pray for those in Gaza. She said, "Reminder, Gaza doesn’t have shelters or an iron dome and to please pray for them."
"May peace prevail in the region and move us towards a moral awakening to care about the human suffering we are seeing," she added. "Palestinians are human beings who have been in besieged and are deserving of protection from the international community."

View on XIn her statement about Israel, Congresswoman Cori Bush said, "I am heartbroken by the ongoing violence in Palestine and Israel, and I mourn the over 250 Israeli and 230 Palestinian lives that have been lost today." She added, "I strongly condemn the targeting of civilians and I urge an immediate ceasefire and de-escalation to prevent further loss of life."
She went on to advocate for the US to end its "support of Israeli military occupation and apartheid."

View on XMarina Medvin pointed out that "Cori Bush mourns the death of the Palestinian terrorists and equates that to the brutalities and butcherings the Palestinians committed of Jewish civilians." She noted, "Palestinian terrorists murdered children and their parents in their homes, kidnapped women and children and a bunch of young girls from a music festival, and this is the same, she says, as Israel killing the terrorists."

View on XTPUSA founder Charlie Kirk responded, "AOC apparently issued an official statement from her congressional account (staff), condemning Hamas’ attack while still being sure to condemn Israel’s “occupation” and “oppression.” Frankly, a disgusting statement."

"Yet you used the terms “oppression” and “occupation” so you’ve picked a side here and it’s clearly not Israel’s," another user wrote.

Michigan Representative Rashida Tlaib said in a statement Sunday, "I grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost yesterday." She continued, "I am determined as ever to fight for a just future where everyone can live in peace..."
"The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates suffocating dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance," she said about the state of Israel. "The failure to recognize the violent reality of living under siege, occupation, and apartheid makes no one safer."
One X user responded, "Did she draft this statement from one of the trucks kidnappings and murdering Israeli women and children?"
