Squad members on Wednesday celebrated Biden’s decision to withhold weapons from Israel that had been approved through bipartisan Congressional bills which were then signed by Biden.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that "President Biden enforcing conditions on US military aid and holding the Israeli gov to the same bar we hold all our allies to is the responsible, secure, and just thing to do."
Biden’s "historic shift to include Israel in US standards makes the world safer and our values clear," she added.

"Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers," he said.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman said in response to Biden’s decision, "We have to keep standing for what is right. Organizing is working. Protesting is working. Keep fighting for a #CeasefireNow."

View on XDefense Secretary confirmed the pause on Wednesday, saying "We’re going to continue to do what’s necessary to ensure that Israel has the means to defend itself," according to The National Desk. "But that said, we are currently reviewing some near-term security assistance shipments in the context of unfolding events in Rafah."
Rep. Cory Mills on Thursday said the House has "no choice" but to impeach President Joe Biden over his refusal to deliver the congressionally approved aid, saying that Biden was "pressuring Israel, our biggest ally in the Middle East, by pausing their funding that has already been approved in the House, if they don't stop all operations with Hamas. It’s a very clear message, 'this for that.'"
Mills noted that President Donald Trump was impeached by the Democrat majority House in 2019 over his pause on delivering aid to Ukraine after it had already been approved by Congress.
"These are the same accusations made against President Trump, which resulted in his impeachment by Democrats. The same must happen for Joe Biden, which is why we’re drawing up articles of impeachment now," Mills said.
The move to draft impeachment articles comes after House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell demanded answers from Biden as to why the shipments were paused.
The pause on shipments comes as Gaza Camps continue to pop up on college campuses across the nation. In recent primary elections in the swing states of Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, Democrats who oppose US support of Israel voted "uncommitted" to show their displeasure with Biden.
