"Alright, we'll say our prayers, we'll light the candles we'll do whatever we have to do. We want our freedom of speech back," Hannity replied.
Bongino's statement comes on the same week that Parler CEO John Matze announced that he was terminated by Parler's board of directors.
"The future of Parler is no longer in my hands," said Matze in an email obtained by Fox.
"On January 29, 2021, the Parler board controlled by Rebekah Mercer decided to immediately terminate my position as CEO of Parler," Matze continued in the email. "I did not participate in this decision."
Amazon, Google and Apple took action to remove Parler from their app stores shortly after the storming of the Capitol building on Jan. 6, claiming that the free speech app was a risk to public safety. The website itself was taken off the internet shortly after, completely barring users from access to the platform.
Parler has reportedly been developing its branding during this offline period, and making some changes within the company.
