Iowa State college students went wild for former President Donald Trump as he visited the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity at Iowa State University, grilled burgers, and threw autographed footballs to the crowd before the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game on Saturday.
Trump arrived at the house to a welcoming applause, but not to be outdone by the massive crowd outside who sang Alabama's hit song Dixie Land Delight as the former president checked out the burgers on the grill.

View on XAccording to The Hill, the rivalry game will likely be the largest sporting event in the state, and along with former President Trump, Florida Governor Ron Desantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, were all expected to attend the game.
GOP presidential hopefuls are spending a lot of time in Iowa as the state's caucuses draw near, which are scheduled for January 15 and are typically seen as an indicator of how well a candidate will perform throughout the election.
A recent Wall Street Journal poll shows former President Trump extending his lead even further in the GOP primary. The survey of 1,500 registered voters and 600 Republican primary voters showed the former president with 59 percent of support. Florida Governor Ron Desantis dropped to 11 percent of support, down from 24 percent in April.
The poll showed 75 percent of the GOP voters had a 75 percent favorability rating of former President Trump even after he has been indicted in four separate cases this year. He faces charges stemming from an allegation he paid hush money to pornstar Stormy Daniels through his lawyer, that he allegedly improperly handled classified documents, that he allegedly tried to overturn the 2020 election on January 6, 2020, and that he violated the Georgia RICO Act for allegedly conspiring to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.
