Yesterday, Ford announced that as of June 24, the city of Toronto and the Peel region will be allowed to enter Stage Two, leaving only Windsor-Essex county as the sole area in Ontario that will remain in stage one.
Ford said he stood with the people of Windsor-Essex, and that more help was on the way, namely for farmers and the agriculture industry, where most of the county's cases stem from.
Ford also said that he would not be getting a hair cut until everyone in the province could get one, again saying he stands by those in Windsor-Essex.
Regarding masks, Ford said he was "encouraging everybody" to wear a mask, though he did not comment on a "no mask, no service" policy.
Ford would then go on to scold younger Ontarians who were seen across Ontario beaches this past weekend.
"You think you can't get COVID?" said Ford. Ford then went on to list COVID statistics regarding young people.
