“Don’t let Justin Trudeau win,” said O’Toole. “We must not allow Canada to be divided by the Liberal’s Ottawa knows best attitude.”

Erin O'Toole held a press conference in Ottawa today were he announced his leadership team, telling Canadians that the CPC are ready for a fall election.
"We are ready [for an election]," said O'Toole. "If they want to rattle their sabres, they will find our sabres our sharpened."
Previously, O'Toole had criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for attempting to call an election in the middle of a pandemic.
O'Toole appointed Candice Bergen—a member of parliament from Manitoba—to serve as his deputy prime minister. Bergen restated O'Toole's commitment to resolving western alienation, saying that was "the very first thing he brought up with the prime minister."
O'Toole later touched on Western alienation and the Wexit Party, saying "Conservatives win when we're united. We're not a party of selfies and hashtags, were a party of jobs and economic opportunity."
"Don't let Justin Trudeau win," he added. "We must not allow Canada to be divided by the Liberal's Ottawa knows best attitude."
On top of this, O'Toole appointed Richard Martell as his Quebec lieutenant, a province that the CPC are attempting to court in the next election.
