Canada has had difficulties receiving vital pandemic equipment from China, throwing yet another wrench into Canada's relationship with the regime, according to Blacklock's Reporter.
The Trudeau government has confirmed that the Chinese regime has recently created export controls that have slowed the deliveries of crucial equipment, needed in order to fight this pandemic.
This caused some tension in the House of Commons on Monday, after Conservative leader Andrew Scheer stated that "three Canadian planes that left for China to pick up medical equipment from China returned to Canada empty."
"The planes were supposed to return last night," he added.
In response to this, the Prime Minister responded by saying that Canada had "challenges with those shipments as the global competition for these items are fierce."
"We will continue to work as best we can to ensure we continue to deliver all the necessary equipment to our heroes working on the front lines."
These new export controls reveal a certain flaw in China's mask diplomacy strategy, aimed at cooling the global resentment directed at them. So far, China has sent Canada heaps of contaminated medical equipment.
