Actor Chuck Norris has denied being at the pro Trump rally in Washington DC on Jan 6 and the subsequent riot at the Capitol, after a picture of a Chuck Norris look-a-like in the crowd surfaced on Twitter.
In a now deleted tweet on Jan, 12 @NunesDrag wrote, "Wait, so are we just not going to mention the fact that Chuck Norris was at the MAGA insurrection?"
A representative for Norris told Fox News that he had no connection with the man in the photo. "This is not Chuck Norris and is a wannabe lookalike although Chuck is much more handsome,” Norris's representative told Fox. "Chuck remains on his ranch in Texas, where he has been with his family," he continued.
Norris is an outspoken Republican who had previously endorsed President Trump in 2016.
"A 'no' vote for Trump is a vote for Hillary. Any way you boil it down, that's the end result. And every last person across America needs to sincerely reflect upon the fact if they want to vote for Hillary by merely staying home on Election Day. That is what she's hoping for," Norris wrote in a column in 2016.
"I would like to encourage every Republican – whether establishment, moderate, liberal or conservative – to come together and unite for the good of our country. Actually, I would like to see independents and Reagan Democrats join us as well to help 'Make America Great Again.'"
