Code Pink agitators for ‘peace’ scream ‘Blinken is a war criminal,’ disrupt Senate hearing

The agitators held up their hands, covered with red paint, and accused Blinken of being the "secretary of genocide." They chanted the same phrases over and over, including "how embarrassing," "war criminal," "bloody butcher Blinken," and other insults.

The agitators disrupted the Senate's Foreign Relations Committee hearing where Blinken was attempting to answer questions from the people's representatives to complain about American ally Israel and Biden's backing of that nation. Biden recently paused congressionally approved military aid from that nation after substantial outbursts from students in Gaza camps at universities across the US. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, as well as leaders of Palestinian terror group Hamas, all chalked this halting of approved aid up to a "win" by campus protesters.

Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, and while they have not demonstrated that they have the military might to continue the war they started, they have generated internationl support from progressive factions who are obsessed with seeing Gazans as the oppressed and Israel as the oppressor. These views have not been swayed by the fact that Hamas was the instigator, as the progressive left claims that resisting an oppressor through violent force is just part of the revolution.

"Blinken you are funding a genocide in Gaza," a protester screamed before being escorted from the chamber. She claimed that there were "seven mass graves" at hospitals in Gaza and that this means Israel is committing "genocide." The US has recently shipped over $100 million in aid to Gaza, which is run by Hamas. "You are a war criminal, shame on you," she screamed. Code Pink identified her as "Olivia" and shared a video of her being carried out of the hearing room. She was threatened with arrest.

The agitators did not speak all at once, but each took a turn interrupting Blinken after the hearing had returned to order. Another Code Pink agitator, identified by Code Pink as "Mohamad", screamed "genocide is your legacy" as he was removed and threatened with arrest by Capitol Police. Mohamad invoked the name of Hind Rajab, a young girl who was killed during an attack on Gaza.

Code Pink is group that claims to be "women for peace." This summer, they are offering workshops to "educate, activate and inspire love for Gaza in your community!" They have embarked on an email campaign to get Congress to stop sending military aid to Israel, even though President Joe Biden unilaterally did that. They also offer a "Summer School for Gaza" where they encourage participants to "join our activist community to disrupt power!"

While they claim to support peace and work toward peace, they are actively aiding terror group Hamas by attempting to remove support and aid for Israel. Hamas is opposed to women's rights, LGBTQ rights, and the right of Jews to exist either in Israel or globally.
