Coronavirus expert from China warns second outbreak is imminent

This could very well cause another large-scale outbreak in China, as lots of ex-pats are looking to come home during these troubled times.

This will come a dark news for China, after life in the infected cities were slowly returning to normal. After Chinese health officials reported the first case of of extraneously contracted coronavirus, these fears have sparked up again.

One medical worker who had been fighting the disease in Wuhan said "cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou have frequent international communications. [I'm] very worried that imported cases could trigger another large-scale epidemic in our country."

The ruling Chinese Communist Party has told all citizens to to go under a 14-day quarantine if they have arrived from a virus-stricken country like Italy—even if no symptoms are showing.

So far, the World Health Organization is reporting 340,000 cases of infection globally, with 14,740 deaths. There is some reason to believe that the number of infections is higher than this, as some cases can go fully asymptomatic.
