A dead baby was found inside a portable washroom on Hastings Street near Main in downtown Vancouver's Eastside on Wednesday night.
Sources told Global News that a woman went into the public toilet in the morning and remained there for the entire day.
Passers-by asked the woman if she needed assistance but she declined.
Global reports that "it’s not clear if she gave birth nor how the baby was found hours later."
Police are expected to speak about the incident on Thursday morning, PST.
