On Wednesday, Democratic governors from across the US met with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House to discuss the president’s disastrous showing at the debate last week.
Among those who attended in person were Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who leads the Democratic Governors Association, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul. Some, like Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, attended the meeting virtually, according to CBSNews.

Walz claimed he and his colleagues had a “great conversation” with Biden, claiming that the governors are not concerned about Biden’s cognitive abilities but rather of “the threat of a Trump presidency.” Walz claimed that last Thursday’s debate was merely a “bad performance” from Biden.
