CNN hailed as one of former President Trump’s greatest enemies, which led to Trump dubbing them "Fake News" after the network became notorious for publishing selectively edited clips to paint a false narrative to its viewers.
Ratings for CNN’s New Day have also drastically plummeted with this weeks show having the least-watched week of the year, Daily Caller reported.
This week, only 461,000 total viewers tuned into CNN’s New Day. Viewers in the 25-54 age demographic totaled only 108,000. The Daily Caller reported that the show "averaged less than 500,000 viewers for the past four consecutive weeks."
Although CNN saw the biggest drop in ratings, all mainstream media news networks took a hit. MSNBC saw a 49 percent drop in total viewership between January and May, coming in second to CNN. While Fox News also lost viewership, their plummet was the least substantial losing on 12 percent to 15 percent between January and May.
