Former White House doctor demands Biden immediately take cognitive test

There has long been debate over President Biden's cognitive abilities, with many claiming his mental health is in decline.

During his press conference on Wednesday, he appeared to brush off a question from a reporter who brought up the issue.

"I’d like to raise a delicate subject, but with utmost respect for your life accomplishments and the high office you hold," a reporter asked President Biden. "A poll released this morning by Politico Morning Consult found 49% of registered voters disagreeing with the statement, ‘Joe Biden is mentally fit. Not even a majority of Democrats who responded strongly affirmed that statement."

"Why do you suppose such large segments of the American electorate have come to harbor such profound concerns about your cognitive fitness?" the reporter asked.

President Biden responded, simply, "I have no idea," then called on the next reporter.

Following the exchange, Obama-era White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson took to Twitter to voice his concern.

"BIDEN JUST IGNORED A QUESTION ABOUT HIS COGNITIVE DECLINE!", he wrote. "Something is WRONG with him. This man IS NOT qualified to be President!! I am demanding he have a cognitive test NOW. There’s too much on the line, we need to know!"

In a preceding tweet, Dr. Jackson called Biden's handling of the press conference "an EMBARRASSMENT," and suggested the president was "disconnected from reality."

This is not the first time Dr. Jackson has called on President Biden to take a cognitive test, and will likely not be the last.
