Fort McMurray has a lot to deal with. These guys here are some of the most resilient people and it’s an honour to serve them. Today they served me and what a blessing. But still, this is a lot. Earlier on our church livestream, I shared a verse from our bulletin. Isaiah 41:10. When we are afraid about tomorrow, we forget who God is. When we become discouraged about the calamity invading our comfort, we forget what God can do. In the midst of what our city is going through, it is so important to remember that God is relentless in his pursuit for us and his mighty right hand brings us victory. Pray for our city to remember our Ever present Help. Our future may seem bleak, but God knows.
