Authorities arrested 63-year-old Campos on June 23 after his car was spotted in a Cool Springs parking lot. According to police, Campos has lived in two different Franklin neighborhoods over the last 20 years, on Glass Lane in the downtown area and Hill Estates, and allegedly targeted nearby school playgrounds and recruited children to play on his soccer team.
Campos is being held in the Williamson County Criminal Justice Center on a $525,000 bond on charges of Rape of a Child and Sexual Exploitation of a Minor after being accused of grooming the kids and then inviting them to his home where he drugged and raped them.
Authorities expect more charges to be filed.
