On Monday evening, Pastor James Roemke led attendees at the Republican National Convention in a Christian prayer, and, as is the custom, the devout bowed their heads and closed their eyes. Before long, an image of Donald Trump doing just that went viral online, with many on the left claiming that he had fallen asleep during the event.
Among those who spread the hoax was Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, whose suggestion that the former president had been taking a nap was quickly debunked by users on X. He was called out by his former co-star Gina Carano, who lambasted him for spreading misinformation.

"What happened to all that talk about not spreading misinformation and disinformation?" she added. "Just doesn't count when you do it huh? Rules for thee.. not for me. How's that white democrat male privilege treating you? Been fired from any jobs recently?"
"It really makes you wonder what the deep state has on you for you to have your head so permanently jammed up their ass to where all you've become is their walking, talking piece of dung," Carano continued. "Have you enjoyed all your political free speech and Hitler analogies without any repercussions the past 8 years. Don't worry, we have them all saved. Strange you weren't cancelled or called out for any of it. I wonder if that time is fast approaching for you. Have a good nap."
That was not Hamill's first dig at Trump in the wake of his assassination attempt. The actor previously joked about the former president's ear bandage, calling it "ludicrously oversized."
