Joe Rogan confirms he’s attending church, says he can find no fault in the teachings of Christ
“If you act as if God is real, you will have a better life. It works.”
“If you act as if God is real, you will have a better life. It works.”

Joe Rogan said the core teachings of Jesus Christ are difficult to fault, describing them as centered on kindness, personal responsibility, and caring for others during a recent podcast discussion focused on faith, morality, and church life. Rogan has previously publicly revealed that he attends church.
“If you get just to the teachings of Christ, I can’t find any faults in it,” Rogan said. “It’s all about being kind. It’s all about this idea that we’re all in this together and that you’re supposed to lift each other up and look after each other.”
“It’s not like you have to kill the non-believers,” he said. “There’s none of that.”
The comments came as Rogan continues to apparently deepen his Christian faith, particularly church attendance, which he said he once viewed cynically. He acknowledged that religious institutions have faced corruption and abuse, but argued that institutional failures do not invalidate Christianity itself.

“I don’t care what system it is,” Rogan said, referring to criticism of churches. “They were corrupt, there was corruption, because they’re human.”
Rather than being persuaded by theology or argument, Rogan said his shift came from observing the behavior of churchgoers over time. “If there was a pill that could make you as nice as the people that I go to church with, everybody would be on it,” he said.
“They are the nicest f***ing people you will ever encounter,” he said. He added that simple moments stood out to him, including how people behave in parking lots. “Everybody lets everybody in. No one rushes ahead. It’s like, ‘You go ahead.’”
During the conversation, Rogan agreed with the idea that Christianity allows for moral failure while still emphasizing repentance and forgiveness. He contrasted that framework with modern political ideologies, stating at one point, “There’s zero pathway in this in leftism.”
“If you act as if God is real, you will have a better life,” Rogan said. “It works.”
“I think the world is better off if people have a great moral and ethical framework,” he said.
