Kamala Harris’ appearance on the last episode of Saturday Night Live before the presidential election on Tuesday has drawn comparison by social media users to a skit featuring former President Donald Trump and Jimmy Fallon in 2015 on The Tonight Show.
The sketch features Harris alongside her SNL impersonator and SNL alumni Maya Rudolph. In the sketch, Harris appears as a reflection in a mirror, speaking to Rudolph as Harris.

View on Rumble"I wish I could talk to someone who’s been in my shoes. You know, a black, south Asian woman running for president. Preferably from the Bay Area," Rudolph’s Harris wondered to herself in an empty dressing room. The real Harris would then respond, “You and me both sister,” to applause.
The sketch appears to have taken inspiration from similar mirror gags frequently used with celebrities and their impersonators. Many social media users were quick to point out that the sketch is strikingly similar to a sketch featuring President Trump and Jimmy Fallon.
Trump and his running mate, Senator JD Vance, have previously claimed that Harris has copied Trump's policies, including tax exemptions on tips and increasing the child tax credit. They also accuse her of flip-flopping on various issues to align more closely with Trump’s positions.
The sketches both follow other famous mirror sketches, such as the one featuring The Rolling Stones frontman Mich Jagger and Fallon on SNL in 2001 and another bit with Mitt Romney, again featuring Fallon.
"Kamala Harris has nothing substantive to offer the American people, so that’s why she’s living out her warped fantasy cosplaying with her elitist friends on Saturday Night Leftists as her campaign spirals down the drain into obscurity," Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung told Fox News Digital. "For the last four years, Kamala’s destructive policies have led to untold misery and hurt for all Americans. She broke it, and President Trump will fix it."
