“We should all be scared,” said Harris.

Vice President Kamala Harris told The View that she is "scared as heck" after Trump dominated the Iowa Caucus on Monday, winning 98 out of 99 counties in a landslide victory against his GOP rivals.
Harris made the comments on Wednesday during an appearance on the daytime talk-show ABC's "The View."
"What are you going to do to stop the crazies?" Host Joy Behar asked Harris.
"I am scared as heck," said Harris. "Which is why I'm traveling the country." She's embarked on a reproductive righs tour of the nation to press for the Biden administration's pro-abortion policies.

View on X"You know there's an old saying," the vice president continued. "There are only two ways to run for office. Either without an opponent, or scared. So on all of those points, yes, we should all be scared."
The panel of View hosts agreed with the vice president and responded to Harris in unison saying, "Yeah."

View on XFollowing the results of Monday night's Iowa caucuses, which resulted in a historic victory for former Republican President Donald J. Trump, who proved himself to be the clear frontrunner in the GOP primary election, President Biden lashed out at Republican voters and his top political rival.
"Looks like Donald Trump just won Iowa. He’s the clear front runner on the other side at this point," said Biden on X.
"But here’s the thing: this election was always going to be you and me vs. extreme MAGA Republicans," he continued. "It was true yesterday and it’ll be true tomorrow."

Vivek Ramasawmy dropped out of the race and endorsed Donald Trump after finishing in fourth place.
Biden has taken aim at Trump voters ever since he took over the White House in 2021, referring to conservatives on multiple occasions as "extremists."
In a speech in front of Independence Hall that was lit up blood-red in September 2022, Biden stood behind the podium and said: "Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic."
