MTG says far-left extremists, not conservatives, are the ones ‘training in the hills’ after Maxine Waters’ remarks

“Maxine Waters is right,” MTG said in her repost of the story regarding this Portland attack. “They are training in the hills and THEY are her people.”

“What is the FBI and DOJ doing about the Democrat funded terrorist group ramping up operations all over America again?” she added. “Still too focused on J6 election protesters?”

Waters had previously expressed fear in an interview on Sunday about right-wing organizations allegedly training for potential actions in the event that Trump is not re-elected in 2024. Waters claimed that she was worried “right-wing” organizations are “training up in the hills somewhere” and would be ready to commit violence.

The group "Rachel Corrie’s Ghost Brigade” claimed responsibility for the Portland attack, explaining in a statement that it broke into a police training facility in Portland and set ten fires as an attack against the Portland Police Bureau (PPB). Their statement cited various motivations for their actions, including solidarity with the anti-Israel protesters engaging in political unrest on college campuses across the country.

“On May Day we torched some PPB cars at their training facility. We cut through a fence, set ten fires and are happy it grew to burn fifteen cars!” The group’s statement began.

“Our attack was preemptive. After seeing Humboldt, Columbia, UCLA and more we knew the occupation at PSU would be swept violently and wanted to attack PPB before,” the statement continued. “While we respect the student occupations, particularly the ones occupying buildings and causing damages to the colleges, we hate to see them passive and waiting to be attacked. Catch the police off guard!”

“They do not believe you are free! Show them you are! Raid them before they raid you!”

Moreover, the group's statement included advice for students engaging in anti-Israel protests on college campuses, urging them to use violence when necessary to achieve their goals.

Anti-Israel protests on college campuses were recently revealed to be funded by major Democratic donors for President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign as well as other Democrat candidates and causes.
