A Toronto man has been arrested by London police after being wanted for a second-degree murder charge for the shooting of Bill Horrace, according to CTV News.
Police arrested 22-year-old Keiron Gregory on Wednesday.
Four males forcibly entered a home on Pochard Lane in the east end shortly before the killing of Horrace.
Gregory and four others are facing charges linked to the incident, which took place on June 21.
Horrace was 44 at the time and was being investigated for war crimes that took place while he was a National Patriotic front of Liberia commander. The rebel group was active from 1989 to 1996 during the civil war.
No link has been made between his history as a commander and his death.
Trevor Gregory—Keiron’s father and a Toronto police Det.-Const.—was also charged and is facing breach of trust charges after he allegedly misled a fellow officer to gain unauthorized information.
There are three other males police believe were involved who are thought to be around the GTA.
Two 22-year-old women from North York were also charged with being an “accessory after the fact to an assault with a weapon.”
