A Liberal MP criticized Conservative Finance Critic Pierre Poilievre for retweeting a post by Canada's most acclaimed public intellectual, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson.
The tweet from Peterson lambastes Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over COVID mandates, stating "these mandates bring out the petty authoritarian in everyone tasked with enforcing them. Not a good practice in a free society."
Liberal MP for St. Catharines Chris Bittle took issue with Poilievre's endorsement of Peterson, accusing Peterson of "undermining public health, while ICUs fill up fast."
