POLL: 50 percent of Americans ‘strongly disapprove’ of President Biden’s job performance

The poll found that 41 percent of likely US voters approved of President Joe Biden's job performance, while 57 percent disapproved.

20 percent of respondents said that they strongly approved of his job performance, while 50 percent said they strongly disapproved.

According to Rasmussen, "this gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -30."

Biden's Presidential Approval Index number has been steadily falling throughout the last couple months of his presidency, going from -12 to -20 throughout August, and fluctuating from -23 to -24 in September, reaching his lowest of that month of -29 on September 27.

At this point of his presidency, former President Donald Trump had an Approval Index rating of -19, with 55 percent of respondents saying they disapproved of his job, and 44 percent saying they approved.

The closest President Trump ever came to an Approval Index rating of -30 was on August 30, where he had a rating of -26. That was the lowest he rated during the entirety of his presidency, according to Rasmussen.

Biden's low rating comes after months of chaotic events, including the Afghanistan withdrawal, the Haitian migrant crisis at the southern border, and fights over the $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation proposal.
