“Unfortunately, I don't advise people over the age of 60 to hug their grandchildren for a while. I know it's hard, it's sad. Will we be able in the coming weeks to see them two meters apart? Perhaps," Premier Francois Legault said during his daily coronavirus press conference this Friday.
Legault expressed fear that children would get their grandparents sick. "The biggest fear I have when I reopen schools is that children will not see their parents, but their grandparents and infect them ... We have to protect people over 60-70 years old. There is a real risk of death,” Legault continued.
