“Mark McCloskey is an absolute liar,” Rep. Bush said. “He has spat on my name, and because of that, his day will come.”
“Mark McCloskey is an absolute liar,” Rep. Bush said. “He has spat on my name, and because of that, his day will come.”

In an interview on CNN, squad member Rep. Cori Bush went after Mark McCloskey, the recently pardoned St. Louis man who waved his gun at Black Lives Matter protestors as they trespassed on his property last year.
In June 2020, Mark McCloskey and his wife Patricia made headlines around the world after footage emerged showing them pointing their guns at a group of protestors who had surrounded their St. Louis home.
Among the group was Missouri Rep. Cori Bush.

View on RumbleAs KSDK reports, Mark McCloskey took to the stage at the Republican National Convention in August 2020 and voiced his opinion of Rep. Bush. In his speech, McCloskey called her "The Marxist liberal activist leading the mob to our neighborhood."
Rep. Bush responded, saying she tried to "laugh at it," but later realized that it might make her a target in the community.
With that, the seeds of a rivalry were sown.
The McCloskeys, who had been charged for their conduct in the summer of 2020, were recently pardoned by Missouri governor Mike Parson after having earlier forfeited their guns.
When the news broke, Rep. Cori Bush took to CNN to voice her displeasure. "It is absolutely unbelievable," she began.
"There are pardons that we have been asking for... in Missouri, and that was not one. They stood there. They pointed their guns, totally reckless, to a group of non-violent protestors walking down a street, that had no clue that they lived there."
"Mark McCloskey is an absolute liar," Rep. Bush continued. "He has spat on my name, and because of that, his day will come."
She went on to say that she will not stand by and allow McCloskey and Gov. Parson "to hurt the very people that are doing the work that they should be doing."
Rep. Bush has recently garnered criticism for her calls to defund the police while hiring private security for herself.
