Andrew Scheer CALLS OUT Trudeau and the World Health Organization

According to CBC, Scheer claimed he had "reservations about the agency's track record during the pandemic, citing its initial claim that the virus did not spread easily between people, and its warning against closing borders to member states like China, as questionable advice given what we know now about the virus."

"We've got serious concerns about the accuracy of the information coming out of the WHO and it's incumbent upon this government to explain why they have based so many of their decisions on the WHO," Scheer said.

Following the WHO's guidance, the Trudeau government has told the Canadian public not to wear masks for their own safety. They also did not implement any travel bans or quarantines from hotspots, and blindly trusted China’s dubious coronavirus numbers.

The WHO declared coronavirus a global pandemic on March 11. Critics say that the organization's capitulation to China may have resulted in countless deaths. The WHO suppressed evidence of the person-to-person transmission of coronavirus in January for six straight days.

"We've seen examples of how the communist, autocratic, human rights-abusing government of China has had an inordinate effect on the WHO. There's evidence of suppressing information, not being open and transparent about the number of cases. Those are very concerning," Scheer said.

US President Trump put a halt to funding the WHO on Tuesday, citing its numerous failures during the pandemic as well as its close relationship with China.
