View on XVideo footage obtained by CNN shows Combs running after Ventura in the hotel hallway. He grabbed her by the back of the neck, threw her to the floor, and kicked her.
Combs then picked up a suitcase and a purse from off the ground and turned around to kick Ventura while she was still on the ground.
He then grabbed the singer’s sweatshirt and dragged her across the floor before walking away.
Ventura proceeded to stand up and Combs turned around and shoved her once again.
According to the video footage, Combs then sat in a chair and threw an object at his ex-girlfriend.
CNN reported that Ventura claimed Combs paid InterContinental $50,000 for security footage capturing a physical altercation in March 2016, per the court filing.
Ventura's complaint stated that Combs became "extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye" during that incident.
The lawsuit stated that Ventura attempted to leave the hotel room after Combs went to sleep; however, he woke up and purportedly “followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her.”
“He grabbed at her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape,” according to the suit.
The lawsuit was settled the day following its submission for an undisclosed amount. Combs' counsel maintained his client's innocence regarding "these offensive and outrageous allegations" at the time.
Several additional lawsuits have been filed against Combs since November, alleging rape, sexual misconduct, and other offenses.
Authorities raided his California and Florida estates in April as part of an investigation into human trafficking conducted by a team of the Department of Homeland Security.
