WATCH: Sean Hannity praises Canadian truck convoy, slams politicians for treating them like second-class citizens

"Let's be clear. Without truckers to truck, other critical supply chain workers, you know– farmers to farm, packers to pack, truckers to truck– the people that produce all the PPE and food to eat. Without all these workers our shelves would be empty," Hannity said during a Monday night segment.

"We all depend on these truckers and depended on them at the height of the pandemic. Just like we depended on doctors and nurses and other healthcare professionals. Americans on the left and right treated them like the heroes they are," Hannity said. "Now how do we say thank you to all of those people that jumped on COVID grenades every single day in 2020 and 2021? We treat them like second-class citizens because some of them don't quite fall in line and they don't want to get the shot or the booster, or whatever it happens to be."

The Fox News host went on to slam Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for labelling the diverse group of truckers "racist" when he has been involved in blackface controversies. Hannity also criticized US President Joe Biden, who is currently missing in action, and said that Biden most likely is unable to comprehend the extent of these demonstrations. US truckers recently announced a convoy starting in California heading to DC.

"Freedom is being stripped away one piece at a time until it's gone. That's what this is about! Make no mistake," Hannity explained.
