Senator Rand Paul took Dr. Anthony Fauci to task over the reality and future of the novel coronavirus.
Paul initially addressed the idea of immunity, stating that there is substantial evidence that the "vast majority of these people" will have immunity, adding that the World Health Organization (WHO) had fanned the flames of the narrative that there is no evidence of immunity.
He added that there is, so far, not much evidence to suggest that someone could get infected again over the short term.

View on XPaul went on to address the fact that children between the ages of 0 and 18, according to New York data, approaches zero, while those between the ages of 18 and 45, per the same data, experience 10 deaths per 100,000 people.
"I think the one size fits all, that we're going to have a national strategy, and that nobody's gonna go back to school is kind of ridiculous," Paul said.
Paul brought up his home state of Kentucky, stating that it has recorded more deaths in a regular flue season than it has with coronavirus, though he did acknowledge that the virus is a deadly disease.
And as far as the modeling that governments around the world have been relying on, Paul said, "People make wrong predictions."
"The history of this when we look back will be wrong prediction after wrong prediction after wrong prediction... As much as I respect you, Dr. Fauci, I don't think you're the end all, I don't think you're the one person that gets to make a decision."
