Senator Ron Johnson slammed for saying society doesn’t need to support families

"If they decide to have families and become parents, that's something they need to consider when they make that choice. I've never really felt it was society's responsibility to take care of other people's children," Johnson said in a local news interview.

"I got a bone to pick with the Senator," Posobiec began.

He noted that the conservative movement needs to upgrade itself, likening the process to a phone pushing out operating system upgrades.

"It's simply this. If conservatives really want to win the country back and take the country back, you have to do so through supporting family policies. This is so key, and it will obviously work within a generation," said Posobiec.

He continued on to say that there are many that are worried about the GDP of the country, the economy, or the stock market.

"What about the people? What about the families? What about the communities? The United States of America has been hollowed out, systemically hollowed out by Western elites getting in bed with the CCP through elite merger, but they look at the stock market as the indicator of the economy. They don't look at wages, they don't look at savings, they don't look at any of these things," said Posobiec.

"They don't look at at family creation, wealth formation, homeownership among working class and middle class families, they're not looking at all that they're looking at the stock market and only the stock market," he added.

Posobiec continued on to note that Poland launched a new demographic plan "based on pro family policies, not migration" last month.

"Poland's government is preparing a new demographic strategy intended to tackle one of Europe's lowest fertility rates. The program will be based on supporting families and not migration," he said.

Posobiec noted that the minister said the plan would soon be adopted, and would include measures aimed at helping parents combine work with family life, give housing care, and financial incentives. These are all aimed at helping increase the birth rate in Poland to one that would sustain the population.

"Cited research shows that 95 percent of young people in Poland would like to start a family but noted that this requires stable employment and requires housing. So they're actually looking at a whole of society approach to this thing, because they understand that these are the kinds of policies they need," said Posobiec, who noted that Hungary has instituted similar policies, including child care and child tax credits," said Posobiec.

"You should be able to raise a family on a single income, full stop," Posobiec added.

"If conservatives want to be the movement of the future, if the conservatives want to be the movement that captures not just the right but also people in the middle, you've got to come to your senses on this. Do not be the party of Wall Street. Do not be the party of the big banks and the big multinationals. Be the party of the people, support families," he concluded.
