Spokesperson’s claim that Biden was blown over by the wind debunked by the actual weather

"WH Spox @KJP46 says the wind was so strong, it knocked Biden over and that’s why he fell three times boarding Air Force One."

"She’s lying."

Weather at Joint Base Andrews shows only 6-14 mph winds which are considered 'light to moderate breezes' by the National Weather Service"

Here is a screenshot showing the weather at the time at that precise location:

The wind clocks in at very moderate 14mph, approximately just over 20 km/h.

Here is the image from the NWS which was also linked to in the above tweet, showing exact definitions of winds according to their speeds:

Clearly a 14mph wind is defined as a "moderate breeze" under this internationally accepted system.

In perfect irony, Biden publicly mocked his predecessor Donald Trump two years ago for the exact same thing.

Hilarity ensured on social media. Here are some comments to the tweet, which speak loudly all on their own:

"The wind was fact-checked. It was weak wind according to the facts."

"Taking bets on how fast the weather service changes those definitions..."
