View on XAccording to Daily Wire, Jessy Jacobs, a poll worker who says he has been an employee of the City of Detroit for decades, says that while he was handling absentee ballots he was instructed by his supervisors "to adjust the mailing date of these absentee ballot packages to be dated earlier than they were actually sent." He claims all of the 70-80 poll workers he worked alongside were given similar instructions.
Jacobs asserted that he witnessed "on a daily basis, City of Detroit election workers and employees coaching and trying to coach voters to vote for Joe Biden and the Democrat Party," including seeing "election workers and employees going over to voting booths with voters in order to watch them vote and coach them for whom to vote."
Jacobs additionally claimed that he was instructed not to check for ID, not to authenticate ballots, and not to validate signatures with existing records.
The second affidavit comes from Republican poll watcher Zachary Larsen. Larsen claims that he was told by a previous poll watcher that she had witnessed votes be processed without confirmation of their authenticity. After replacing her, Larsen said he witnessed the same thing, seeing election workers process votes by people who were not registered in the poll book, and allowing people who's names had already been listed as having voted to cast ballots again, with a different name on the voter roll being credited for it.
The news comes as President Donald Trump claims that election fraud may have been employed by the Democratic Party in order to swing the election in favour of his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden. This is the first time that allegations of widespread voter fraud have been substantiated in court by an affidavit this election, although such allegations have not yet been tested in court.
