Trump demands Biden take a cognitive test—he took 2 during his presidency

"Crooked Joe Biden must take a Cognitive Test," Trump wrote. "Maybe that way we would be able to find out why he makes such terrible decisions. I took two of them, and ACED them both (no mistakes!). All Presidents, or people wanting to become President, should mandatorily take this test!"

On Wednesday, the White House released the results from Biden’s annual physical conducted by presidential physician Dr. Kevin O'Connor, who wrote that he has "no new concerns" regarding the commander-in-chief.

"President Biden is a healthy, active, robust 81-year-old male, who remains fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief," O’Connor wrote.

Ahead of his physical, the White House announced that Biden would not be taking a cognitive test as part of the annual physical.

In a 2018 Montreal Cognitive Assessment test given by Dr Ronny Jackson, Trump aced it with a perfect score of 30. According to NBC News, the test was created in 1996 by Canadian neurologist Dr. Ziad Nasreddine.

It includes 30 questions that are designed to take 10 minutes to answer, with questions including identifying pictures of animals, copying a picture of a cube, and drawing a clock.

“I created the test in 1996 as a screening examination where we ask the patient several questions," Nasreddine told NBC News. "Each question is accessing a different part of the brain in terms of cognition.”

A score over 26 is considered normal. A score between 18 and 25 is considered mild cognitive impairment, 10 to 17 is considered moderate impairment, and a score under 10 is considered severe impairment.

Other questions involve the test taker repeating back words to the test administrator to test memory function, being able to list similarities between two object, and being able to recall what the date is and where the person is currently.

Trump pushed for Biden to take a cognitive test when Biden was the presumptive Democrat nominee for the 2020 election.

"Honestly, he should take the test," Trump said. "In a way, he has an obligation to because you have to be able to show this country that the person that we're picking as leader is sharp. Because we're dealing with people that want to do very bad things to us."

Trump said at the time of the test that "The first questions are very easy, the last questions are much more difficult."

"It's like, you'll go, 'Person, woman, man, camera, TV'," he said. "So, they'd say, 'Could you repeat that?' So, I said, yeah — person, woman, man, camera, TV."
