Turning Point launches PAC to develop candidates who will ‘unapologetically fight’ for the American people

The news was reported in Politico's Playbook, saying that "The PAC will specifically focus on issues popular on the right wing, including 'Big Tech censorship' and 'election integrity.'" The PAC, Politico reported, has already raised nearly $10 million.

"TPPAC plans to harness the power of the America First movement to identifying conservative candidates that are willing to unapologetically fight for the interests of the American people," the group said in a Friday statement.

But more than that, they intend to develop candidates that will "combat the consultant class and the globalist chamber of commerce establishment that has taken advantage of conservatives for too long."

The group pledges to fight back against the influences of "Big Tech, woke corporations, the trans agenda, CRT ideologues, the teachers unions, and open-borders lobbyists that have too-often reduced the GOP to a party of controlled opposition."

They will work closely with its sister organization Turning Point Action to recruit "consistently at the precinct level, educate and closely observe political newcomers, tap into its unique vantage point at the nexus of millennial and Gen Z culture, and help resource rising-star candidates who are uniquely poised to transform the political landscape in their hometown communities."

TPPAC say they will scores pre-existing officeholders and new candidates on seven major policy areas:

• Election Integrity • School Choice and Parental Rights • Big Tech Censorship • Onshoring of American Jobs • Border Security and Defense from International Influence • Pro-Life Causes • Gun Rights

They also provided a 2022 Congressional Scorecard as an example.

"Turning Point PAC has an unprecedented opportunity to tip the ideological balance of the conservative movement," says Turning Point PAC Founder Charlie Kirk.

"Conservatives often wonder why their elected officials stab them in the back once they take office. Turning Point PAC has been created to fix that problem. We will work to elect candidates who will courageously defend the values of grassroots voters, and we will work to replace the frauds who consistently betray us."

Turning Point PAC will launch with a multi-million dollar "war chest" which it plans to deploy heading into the 2022 midterms, including independent expenditures supporting candidates and max PAC contributions to designated candidates endorsed by the PAC.
