Comedian Louis CK joined Shane Gillis on the second episode of their series on US presidential history, where he shared some quick thoughts on Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter.
During the episode's opening segment on 19th President Rutherford B. Hayes, the two discuss how presidential power began to be more influenced from outside, capitalist forces.

"He bought Twitter, you guys! He bought Twitter from those really great people that owned it," he continued to say. "Now it's not gonna be democracy because the people—I like how the people before were like, a bunch of monks or something. Yeah, they were a bunch of monks who just knew everything. Now he took it, and he's a piece of sh*t. Elon Musk."
CK has not been on Twitter for years now. He explained on an episode of Opie Radio that he deleted it because "it didn't make me feel good."
"Any time I tweeted anything I was like, 'Ugh don’t like the way that came out.' And then four and a half million people saw it! It was the worst things I ever said, heard and seen by the most people. It’s the worst possible scenario."
"It’s too instant, I don’t think the speed helps dialogue," CK said. "I think it’s why everything is kind of f–ked up and polarizing, because people are going too fast, they’re trying to react too quickly."
CK had over four million followers when he deleted his account.
