Nikki Haley started the New Hampshire primary with a clean sweep in the tiny town of Dixville Notch, receiving support from all six registered voters.

The sleepy township, which has long been the first in the nation to vote in the primary season, released the results shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

According to the Associated Press, the Tillotson House living room in which voting took place was packed, with members of the media outnumbering actual residents "more than 10-1."

In proper small-town fashion, attendees were greeted by a puppy, and offered a plate of cookies.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
