A former aide at a Harlem public school in New York City has been arrested on child sex crime charges.

Miles (Myles) McNeal, 25, of Yonkers, who uses "they/he" pronouns and who during his free time before the incident would rant about topics ranging from "sexy" and "queer" vampire stories to the "white supremacy" of the "capitalist system," has been accused of sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl over nearly a year.

McNeal has been charged with child sex abuse, using a child in a sexual performance, and other lesser counts, court records show. He is being held at Rikers Island. McNeal pleaded not guilty to the charges in Manhattan Criminal Court on Friday.

He was arrested on Thursday by detectives with the Manhattan Child Abuse Squad. A judge set his bail at $75,000 cash or $200,000 bond.

According to charging documents, McNeal first began to target the 8-year-old student victim on Sept. 8, 2022. He allegedly molested and took nude photos of the child at the school. The abuse lasted until at least Aug. 18, 2023, prosecutors said. NYPD released a mugshot of McNeal on Satuday with arresting details.

McNeal allegedly repeatedly assaulted the girl, took obscene pictures of her, and showed her pornographic images of other naked children, court records show.

McNeal also provides tutoring services to students and has an active account on the tutoring service website "Tutor Extra." He lists himself as an English tutor and charges a $20 fee per hour. He offers services for students between Kindergarten and High School, according to his account. The services he offers include English literature, essay writing, creative writing, screenwriting, and philosophy.

In addition, he offers the “special service” of “toddler childcare" on his profile. According to McNeal's account on LinkedIn, the former Harlem public school employee, who was reportedly fired from his job in November, lists himself as a freelance video editor. He claims to have done videography work for an educational company in a post on the platform where many pictures of young children are featured in a video.

Furthermore, McNeal lists himself as a "YouTuber" in his biography on the social media platform X. Multiple videos and posts he has published to both YouTube and X, formerly known as Twitter, include anti-capitalist sentiments. He also appears to have an infatuation with "sexy" and "queer" vampires.

In a video published on YouTube titled, "Capitalism, Worthlessness and You: The Lie of Productivity," McNeal goes on a nearly hour-long rant about the "dangers of capitalism." He explains that traditional roles, such as men being providers, is a “white supremacist” idea.

In the video's description box, McNeal wrote: "Capitalism is danger to us all. We Deserve so much better than this." He also provided links to the radical far-left anarchist library, as well as links to videos created by controversial anti-police progressive activists such as Kwame Ture and Angela Davis.

In one video published to YouTube titled, "Vampires and S3x: A Match Made in Hell," McNeal wrote in the description box: "Vampires and Sexual lust go hand in hand throughout the various stories told about vampires. It's always a constant theme. In this video I'm here to explain why that is and how changes in how sexuality is viewed in society, the vampire changes as well."

Furthermore, McNeal appears to have an obsession with "queer" vampires. He explains that not all vampires are "heterosexual" and goes on to discuss a story about female vampires eating women. Later during the video he spoke on the rise of "queer relationships in vampire media" becoming a "popular trend" in various vampire movies after the well-known film "Dracula."

A part-time teacher at the school McNeal had worked at described McNeal as "a very mild-mannered, soft-spoken, reserved kind of guy."

The teacher was shocked to hear about the allegations and told a news outlet: "I hope that the accusations are not true. That’s the only thing I can really say. I hope that it’s not true."
