The silencing of feminists has served to create an entirely false impression that society, as a whole, is onboard with the new sex denialist creed of trans ideology.
A politician who is a gender non-conforming biological male who identifies as transgender and goes by both the names Aimee Challenor and Aimee Knight—christened Ashley Challenor—had been sacked by Reddit following a spate of censorship of media articles about Challenor's dark past.
Reddit is an online home to millions of children and teenagers whose parents don't seem to understand, or care, about the online world they are allowing their child to access. Challenor has proven links to child abusers. Reddit, in hiring Challenor, enabled a potential predator to run their online playground.
What happened is that, on the March 23, the volunteer moderators of several Reddit groups with an estimated 20 million+ members, locked down their boards to protest the company's censorship of posts about its new employee, Aimee Challenor, and Challenor's links to child abusers.
Aimee Challenor, kicked out of the Greens and the pervy Lib Dems is now an employee of Reddit and blocking my article from the site as well as kicking anyone off who shares it and banning them. Spread this around please and make it very public: https://t.co/62FhHsDAjO

Reddit's management claims that they "did not adequately vet" Challenor's background before hiring. They claim that they censored posts that were critical of Challenor in order to prevent the "doxxing and harassment" of their employee. In which case, one would have expected them to notice that they were removing articles from mainstream media outlets, and perhaps to take an interest in their content.
It is difficult to see how a Spectator article by feminist Julie Bindel about the Green Party, which mentioned Challenor in passing, could reasonably be considered doxxing or harassment. Yet this is what Reddit concluded before nuking all threads which mentioned Challenor's name.
I do not think Reddit is being honest about the Aimee Challenor situation. Almost none of the actions it took (that we know of) are consistent with "we were just trying to protect her from doxxing/harassment." They're all consistent with censorship.https://t.co/q9qw6vmyXc

Members are questioning Reddit's narrative, for two reasons.
First, Challenor is a notorious public figure whose exploits have been covered by mainstream media for years. Challenor came to prominence in 2018 as a youth candidate for the UK Green Party. After a meteoric rise to influence—on a wave of establishment "inclusivity" rhetoric from the Greens, Stonewall, Pride and the Guardian—Aimee appointed father David Challenor as election agent.
Trans activist Aimee Challenor, who hid and defended 'her' sadistic pedophile father (convicted of torturing and raping a 10 year old girl), became a paid administrator at Reddit this month.

At the time that Aimee made the appointment, David Challenor had been arrested and was subsequently charged on 22 separate counts of sexual offenses against a child, of the most horrifying depravity: the rape a torture of a ten year old girl, while dressed—significantly—role playing in a parody of little girls' clothing. This was child sexual abuse exacted as "sissy porn."
David Challenor was subsequently jailed for a minimum of 20 years. He committed those offenses in the attic of the small terraced house in Coventry where he lived with his then-son, Aimee. Critics suggest that Aimee's claim to know nothing about this criminal activity lacks credibility.
Notably, the Liberal Democrat Party went on to welcome Aimee Challenor after—and despite—all of this. Not long afterwards, they too were compelled to eject Aimee after the same issues erupted once again.
Do the managers of Reddit not know how to google a prospective employee's name? The task might have been complicated by Aimee marrying Nathaniel Knight, a man who has boasted online about making child pornography images, and Challenor's having a changed surname, but it would not have been necessary to dig very far to uncover Aimee's background.
One might be tempted to consider that the managers of Reddit may have turned a blind eye, because even deeply suspect or borderline-criminal behaviour is fine if the person committing it is a gender non-conforming biological male who identifies as transgender.
Reddit users are also questioning the narrative because this is the company which, in July 2020, took down the "gender critical" feminist boards with 65,000 users, while allowing boards dedicated to men's most horrifying—and illegal—interests to remain.
Their reasoning was that these feminist boards—frequented by lesbians worried about their erasure under policy capture by gender identity ideology—"promote hate based on identity." Under their terms of service, the list of protected identities included transgender identity, but not sex.
On the gender critical area of Reddit, members had used tags such as "misogyny," "female erasure," "sexual violence/exploitation," "censorship," and "need support/advice." They had shared lists of resources and organizations for women to get involved in the movement for women's liberation from patriarchal oppression.
As such, they had to go, but men's boards dedicated to rape of women and child abuse are still operative.
Challenor's story is the latest chapter in the ongoing censorship of feminist women and critics of gender identity ideology by proprietary software-owning companies. It has become normal for them to engage in censorship with the aim of skewing public debate. In particular, the silencing of feminists has served to create an entirely false impression that society, as a whole, is onboard with the new sex denialist creed of trans ideology.
Aimee Challenor, in collaboration with father David Challenor, is alleged to have carried out an internet campaign against gender critical people who questioned whether or not people can change sex. The Terfblocker App ("terf" being a derogatory slur intended to silence especially women who criticize gender identity ideology) enables Twitter users to automatically block tens of thousands of users deemed "transphobic" for believing in material reality.
So Aimee Chasllenor has now been sacked from reddit.
This person has systematically been silencing women and feminists on reddit and twitter for several years. Banning them, closing feminist discussion boards, systematic blocking. Not a mention of this from CEO.

The lesson to take from the Aimee Challenor saga is that, if society elevates any social group as sacred and somehow above the law, that group will attract predators.
We have been seeing an increasing number of reports of male predators adopting transgender identities as a cover for their nefarious desire to access vulnerable children, using LGBT charities, lobby groups and educations providers as the conduit. However, the same dynamic has been present in other groups over the years—religious communities, international aid bodies, the charitable sector.
Wherever there are vulnerable children, predators will gather. It's a fact of life. The way we deal with it is through child safeguarding measures.
Safeguarding means that no adult—especially if he is male—is above suspicion, and no adult is "special" in a way which means institutions can afford to drop their guard and hold them to a lower standard of conduct than anyone else. Predators are often adept at obtaining institutional power, and the only antidote are strong systems—including protection for whistleblowers.
Unfortunately, the earliest whistleblowers who drew attention to Aimee Challenor's activities were kicked off social media platforms and derided by liberals who needed to believe that these women were the problem, not the biological males that they were warning people about.
This is an issue which social media platforms must grapple with, or users will vote with their feet. If Twitter, Reddit and others continue to allow deeply disordered, misogynistic men to treat their platforms as personal fiefdoms—capturing policy and expelling dissident women—the online environment can only deteriorate further.
