Over 1,000 protests are set to take place on Saturday in opposition to President Donald Trump and Elon Musk broadly labeled as "Hands Off," and is being promoted by the Soros-funded, left-wing organization Indivisible

The "Hands Off" day is set to be one of the largest protest events since Trump took office. According to the "Hands Off" webpage, the coalition is protesting because they believe "Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them" and that "they're taking everything they can get their hands on, and daring the world to stop them."

The cofounder of Indivisible, Ezra Levin, told Rachel Maddow on MSNBC and claimed that there would be large events across every state and that there would protests in every state full of "normal, everyday people who are saying, 'Hey, I've had enough. I've seen the institutions fall. I've seen the universities. I've seen businesses. I've seen law firms not stand up not support our liberal democracy. So what am I going to do as an individual? Well, I'm going to do my part. I'm going to show up.'"

He claimed dozens of these protests would be popping up in different states, including 17 in the red state of Montana as well as 14 in Alaska. He said that the protest is about "meeting people where they are."

Additionally, the left-wing organization had a form for people to fill out and host a protest event in their area. The form states "This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies. Across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country."

Indivisible has a "toolkit" with coordinated protest messaging and slogans for signs, flyers, and other printed materials

Axios reported that one of the largest gatherings will take place in Washington, DC, where activists say they are expecting 10,000 to 20,000 people. In addition to the large gathering in Washington, DC, multiple Democrat lawmakers are expected to be there to speak, including Reps. Jamie Raskin, Maxwell Frost, Don Beyer, Ilhan Omar, and Glenn Ivey.

The Demonstration is connected to an array of issues, including opposition to Trump and Elon Musk, the ICE arrest and potential deportation of Mahmoud Khalil, actions from DOGE to cut back the reach of the federal government, and many more issues.

Keith

This is the first I’ve heard of this and it’s now 10pm Saturday. I went to breakfast and then drove to the leftist town near me to take my car to the dealer. I then went to the farm supply place and went home. What a nothing burger.
