Tuesday marks the first 100 days of President Donald Trump’s second administration, one that has been riddled with over 200 lawsuits filed by various plaintiffs against countless executive actions he has taken.

Per Reuters, federal judges have issued over 70 rulings blocking Trump’s efforts on deportations, birthright citizenship, government spending, and transgender military members.

Some of the most targeted actions undertaken by the administration were those related to immigration, for which federal judges have issued at least 19 orders pausing or curtailing the administration’s ability to conduct mass deportations, restrict birthright citizenship, and defund refugee resettlement programs.

Many of those rulings are under appeal, and the administration has won at least nine rulings, including cases relating to sending certain detainees to Guantanamo, reworking an entry app for migrants, and carrying out immigration raids at places of worship.

The use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport criminal illegal immigrants has seen multiple challenges, with three federal judges blocking deportations under the act, as well as the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court is set to hear arguments on May 15 over Trump’s order removing birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrant parents.

Several rulings have been issued blocking the administration from freezing trillions of dollars in federal assistance, including grants and loans. Separately, judges have blocked the administration’s bid to curtail funding for research at universities, medical centers and other institutions, cut $11 billion in public health funds, and claw back $20 billion in grants for clean energy projects.

Also being challenged is Trump’s executive order barring transgender individuals from the military, one terminating DEI programs in the US government, and orders placing restrictions on major law firms. At least seven lawsuits have been launched against the sweeping tariffs Trump announced against trading partners.
