After Jessie Watters' show on Tuesday where he said the government has been "turning Taylor Swift into an asset" through a "psy-op," Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh has denied the claim, an idea that first came from Human Events' Senior Editor Jack Posobiec.

Quoting from one of Swift's songs in a statement to Politico, Singh, said, “as for this conspiracy theory, we are going to shake it off.”

She continued to make other Taylor Swift puns in her statement, which stated, “But that does highlight that we still need Congress to approve our supplemental budget request as Swift-ly as possible so we can be out of the woods with potential fiscal concerns."

On Dec. 6, 2023, right after Swift won the Times Person of the Year award, Posobiec posted to X, "The Taylor Swift girlboss psyop has been fully activated. From her hand-selected vaccine shill boyfriend to her DINK lifestyle to her upcoming 2024 voter operation for Democrats on abortion rights."

Following the post to X, Posobiec had Evita Duffy on his show where they talked about why Swift could rally support for President Joe Biden in the 2024 election year.

"She's a girl boss, she has a lot of failed relationships where she blames the man every time." Duffy then asked, "Why are we pushing Taylor Swift?"

"What we're seeing is actually a very advanced psychological operation, whereby in ... she is going to shill for Biden, and she is going to turn her massive, ... extremely massive fan base for Biden in this election, because they know they need people like Taylor Swift," Posobiec commented.

Watters posted the clip of his segment to X on Tuesday where he said an idea was floated at a NATO meeting in 2019 where Swift could combat "online misinformation."

Media surrounding Swift has grown over the last year with Pennsylvania even passing a resolution dedicating 2023 as the "Taylor Swift Era."

Back in December, after Posobiec posted about the claim, an MSNBC host criticized him over it. Posobiec responded, "This MSNBC gooner is LOSING IT that I called out the Taylor Swift op."
