President Trump ordered the USA to leave the World Health Organization due to Chinese influence within the organization.

President Biden signed an executive order on Wednesday reversing President Trump's order to leave and pull US funding from the World Health Organization (WHO). President Trump pulled out of the WHO due to significant Chinese influence within the organization and their failure to contain coronavirus, relying entirely on Chinese Communist Party recommendations and guidance.

During the election season, Biden pledged to rejoin the WHO on his first day in office and has now kept that promise. Despite evidence that the WHO is under Chinese influence, the US will now be rejoining and funding the organization.

In May, President Trump cut ties with the WHO, and chose to divert funding to other global initiatives. The controversy around the WHO stems from the fact that the WHO has played a negative part in amplifying faulty virus information from Beijing.

In some cases, the World Health Organization has been shockingly transparent in their supposed allegiances to China. In one interview, a senior WHO official dodges any acknowledgement of Taiwan. He seemingly pretends to not hear the question and asks to move on.

After the US, the next biggest funder to WHO is China. This reversal is part of a spate of reversals of Trump's executive orders promised and implemented by Biden on his first day.
