Prince Andrew has been stripped of his remaining royal affiliations by Queen Elizabeth, as the royal still deals with a lawsuit that accuses him of sexually abusing a teenager.

"The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen," Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

The accuser, Virginia Guiffre says her and Andrew had sex after being directed to do so by the now-convicted Epstein accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.
Additionally, Andrew will no longer use the title of "His Royal Highness" in any official capacity, reports Reuters.

All of Andrew's responsibilities will be divided up amongst other members of the royals.

“With The Queen’s approval and agreement, The Duke of York’s military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to The Queen,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

Roberts is currently suing Prince Andrew for several million. She also alleges that Prince Andrew and Epstein trafficked her for the purpose of sex.

Prince Andrew has denied these allegations, even doing a bizarre BBC interview where he claimed a photo of him and Roberts was fake as he did not sweat.
